Long Range Shooting
Long Range Shooting is Back!!!!!!!
There will be long range shooting on the 5th Saturday of a month. Plan now to dust off those long range rifles and attend the next match. (See the Shooting Schedule for dates.) If time permits, we will shoot some regular stages after the long range shoot.
Standard SASS rules governing long range shooting will apply.
We will have targets at 55-75-95-150-200 yards (and maybe further).
Remember, safety meeting at 9:30 AM with the match to start soon thereafter.

We had a good turnout for the first long range shoot of 2010. Several folks had single shot big bore rifles while others used their regular match rifle. Although we didn't keep score, the 200 yard target was hit often. Everyone had a good time. We even managed to shoot three regular stages. |
